Bobbi Mendez
Hello everyone! I am Bobbi Mendez, your USOA Mrs. PA 2024. I am currently living my passion, being an established award-winning salon owner and master stylist called Glamour Room. Glamour Room is an all natural Aveda salon. I won the award “Best Hair Salon” in Lancaster 3 years in a row! You can see my work from New York, LA, to Paris, doing photo shoots and runway shows for numerous designers . I actually worked with my favorite designer Micheal Kors 3 times doing hair and makeup for photo shoots and runway shows.
I was named “Top 50 Professional Women” of 2023, in Professional Women’s Magazine. I also was featured in Millennium Magazine for outstanding achievement, and featured in Entrepreneur Magazine.
My life’s ambition is to continue to use my talents for good in the community, with the goal of nurturing tomorrow’s confident female leaders, by working with Girls on the Run, and expanding my foundation that I created “Cuts that Care”. (Which is haircuts for the homeless.)
My platform is “Expanding Horizons”. Creating future leaders of tomorrow- by empowering teens and women to feel confident through beauty and realize their inner strengths. I do this through my “Confidence Queens Program”, which is an after school program teaching teens to learn how to do professional makeup. I also partner with local dress shops and help women in local shelters prepare for their interviews by giving them professional hair and makeup.
For the younger generation, I founded the “Dream Big Program”, teaching children to reach for the stars, and write their own destiny by using vision boards.
I have a very supportive husband named Ricky. I also have 2 children, Bentlee who is 11 and Airabella who is 5. My children are my world. In my free time I love to travel, and find thrill seeking activities. I am such a foodie! I love trying new and exciting foods. I also love spending time with my goats names Sprinkles and Cookies.
